:: She Art Canvas ::

I´m so sorry for being the worst blogger ever! I haven´t had any scrap mojo for a long time and I really miss my crafty time! I´m a bit anemic and really tired all the time. We also lost a dear family member and with came funeral planning and a funeral.
I really wanted to create some She Art for my sons teacher! He will change to a new school after the summer break and he really have had an amazing teacher for the last three years!
This is the result! A twelve by twelve canvas with a darn cute Angel on.

I started with paper scraps and then lots of layers of acrylic paint, gesso, stencils, rub-ond and glitter.

I choose the following words for my canvas. It takes a special kind of Angel to teach children.

She got my favorite hairdo,  the curly side bun with flowers.

I cut out butteflies from napkins and added some in front of the Angel and some in the background. I added some colors on the butterflies with my Faber Castel Bg Brush Pit Pens. And they also got some clear beads from Prima and of course some doodeling with the best pen Pilot Perma Ball.

The dress is build with paper in the bottom and then lots of different pieces of lace.

I always use black details on my canvases because I think all colors really pop with some contrasts!

The collar is buildt with pieces of lace, a flower from Prima and a rub-on.
Hope you liked my canvas! My sons teacher really liked it and I´m happy she got this canvas!

:: Canvas from a Riika Kovasin workshop ::

For some time ago I attended two Riikka Kovasin classes. On the second class we made this amazing canvases! So fun to try something far away from my usually style!
It was a bit difficult to take photos of the canvas. It is so many textures and 3d effects!

It was really fun to cover the heart with metal tape and then make some nail holes.
Some of the embellishments are from Prima and some of them finds from home.

:: Beauty lies in the eyes of the beholder ::

Long time no see!!! Finally I have some new posts in my blog!
This green canavs with a very important message was created some time ago for a cyber crop.
I made it in all green with a small amount of white and black.

The "cute" bird stamps are from Tim Holtz. I stamped them directly on the canvas and then I added shadows and highlights. For the background I used tons of different green mixed-media products.

I used a Stencil from Tim Holtz called Layering stencil-stripes. I added some green Acrylic Ink with Modeling Paste to get a thick green paint.

I also used my Faber Castell Big Brush Pitt Pens to get some shadows around the birds. And I also splashed paint in different colors and stamped with a lid to get some circles. Last I added my words and some rub-ons.

:: Favorite OTP projects 2015 ::

I made some OTP projects during 2015 and here are some of them I really likes. I mostly made canvases that I donated for charity. I try to support Denisängelprojektet who give all the money they get to Panzi hospital in Congo. This charity who is managed by a real angel called Usha Deminger have involved several scrapbooking girls including me. I try to send her handmade cards and other stuff I create and don´t need myself. For Christmas I made some canvases with angels on and then Usha auctioned them out. It really makes my heart happy that my stuff made with paper can help a women or child in Congo!

1. This is a wooden tag with a snowman on.

2. This is also a wooden tag but with an angel on.

3. Canvas Angel of Christmas.

4. Canvas Friends are like angels.

5. Canvas We are never so lost.

6. Canvas Even the smallest wings counts.

7. Canvas Together we are strong. This canvas was a gift for Usha. I think she is truly amazing!

8. Canvas Dare to be different.

:: A new Angel for Denis Ängelprojektet ::

This is another Angel I donated to Denis Ängelprojektet. Usha Deminger will auction off  this canvas and all money go to Panzi Hospital in Kongo.

Meet Angel of Christmas! I think she´s really cute!

I used papers from Papirdesign and Inkido togther with gold doilys. Lots of rub-ons and some gold mini pearls.

I think it´s fun to discover new details when you look really close at my canvases!

:: Christmas angel for Denisängelprojektet ::

Here is the fourth canvas and the last for this week. This time I made a Christmas Angel.
I struggled a bit to get her to be in focus but after painting the fern branches it looked a bit better.

I really wanted her to look a bit whimsical and gave her also a large Poinsettia as hair embellishment.
Her wings have not grown so much yet but all wings counts. Curly hair with both gold and glitter add to the whimsical look. Hope you like her!

Behind the buttons, rhinestones from Prima, I used rub-ons.

Layer. layer and layer! So fun to create!

:: Angel canvas in brown and gold ::

Here is my third canvas! Today I have a Angel canvas in brown and gold.
The text in Swedish say - Friends are like Angels lifting us up when our own wigs are a bit broken. I think it´s a sweet way thinking of friends!

First I didn´t like her at all but after giving her a wreath that changed. Now I think she´s really pretty with her long dark hair, lace dress and sparkling wings.

I made the dress with different laces and small buttons. I also covered the dress with Tattered Angel Glimmer Glam Chandelier.

:: Angel canvas for Denisängelprojektet ::

Today I will show you my second canvas I created for the Denisängelprojektet.
I actually made three different Angel canvas so there will be two more. Hope you will like them!
This is actually a bit more turquoice in real life.

I think she´s a cutie and I hope some one will buy her when she arrive at Ushas.

I use lot of textures and layers on my canvases! I also think it´s fun to use lace for even more textures. Bling is always a good thing!

I often use Texture paste and Acrylic Ink together. I think they blends really pretty together!
I use a ton of rub-ons both in black and white. Most of them are from Kaiser Craft. Here I also used some from Tim Holtz.

:: Denisängelprojektet ::

This week I will show projects I created for the "Denisängelprojektet". I have created several canvases that I will donate to the project. They will sell them at market and fairs. The following text will be in Swedish because this organisation collect money in Sweden and send them to Panzi Hospital in Kongo. There are so many horrible things going on in the world and this is one of my ways to give back a bit. How can you help another human?

My first canvas is one with cute sheeps on. Usha use her own sheeps wool to make the Angels so I think this is a fun canvas for this project!

I learned to make this sheeps during a online class with Junelle Hallstrom Jacobsen.
I start with decide what message I want my canvas to have and then it just come to me. We all need to dare to be different and go our own way!

I wanted the canvas to be fun and made whimsical flowers and a fun hat for one of the sheep.
Aren´t he cute!!!!
