:: Spring Fling - ATC ::

More green! I made a bunch of green backgrounds and then I cut some of them in to paper strips and added to my backgrounds. 

I love to use my bottlecaps and here I chose a golden one. I think the yellow Butterflies looks really good with all the green elements. 

I also added some brown flowers from Prima to get some contrasts.

:: Vintage Heritage - ATC ::

I don´t create in vintage style that often when it comes to ATC but it was really fun!

By using different textures I get some depth even that I only work with white and beige colors. I also worked with the White Wash technique.

So sorry for being a bit missing in action here! But now I´m back with some new ATC!

 I started with different sprays and Gesso over a stencil. Then I added some stamping and some washi tape. I also added sequins , glitter, Liquid Pearls and some sprinkled ink.

:: Christmas Cards for Wild Orchid Crafts ::

Today I have two cards created for Wild Orchid Crafts. I really like to play with different colors and create in not so traditional colors for Christmas cards.

For this card I used a vintage style image from Tim Holtz. I played with different shades of blue on my flowers and a little bit of green and white.

To get even more wintery feeling I added some Gesso and also some fake snow.

I really love the Trellis Roses! Gorgeous!

For my next card I also used a image from Tim Holtz but this time I went a little bit bolder with my colors! I think gold makes a card really cool and looking a bit fancy!

:: Three very different Christmas Cards ::

First a tall card with layers of paper and die-cuts.

I used paper from Maja Design, Pion Design and dies from Spellbinders and Tim Holtz.

Here I created a fun shaker card with snow behin the window. Paper from Bo Bunny and Lawn Fawn. Stickers from October Afternoon and my images are colored with my Copics.

On my last card for today, yes it will be more Christmas Cards soon :) I used different stickers from October Afteroon. I used 3d foam behind them to get more 3d effect.

 Time for some ATC and this time in a Christmas theme. I used lots of gold together with very pretty flowers and Berries from Wild Orchid Crafts.

:: Halloween ATC - Spooky ::

Happy Halloween! Here in Sweden Halloween is beginning to get really big despite it´s not a Swedish tradition. Of course the kids think it´s more fun than us adults. I wanted to create a bit scary ATC and this is the result.

My backgrounds is made with lots of die-cuts from Tim Holtz Ephemera pack Frightful and paper from Bo Bunny Wonderfully Wicked Collection.

I made the faces with paper clay and painted them black. 

To get them a bit less scary I added black lace over the faces. 

I added a ton of different texture embellishments. I also added both black paint and some metallic paint from Prima also in black.

I wanted some orange also so I added orange glitter from Prima and Rich Copper Metallique Wax.

I also added Black glitter, black micro beads, black glass beads and black larger glitters.

Behind the lace you get a glimpse of the evil red eyes! Boooohhhhh!

:: My very first project for Wild Orchid Crafts ::

I´m so happy to show you my very first dt project for Wild Orchid Crafts! I decided to make a layout with purple and lilac colors because they are Viggos favorite colors. I used a paper from Bo Bunny called Garden Party Fragrant. For my background I used two different stencils. One is from Prima and called Poppies and the other is from Tim Holtz and called Stripes. I used Prima Heavy Gesso with the stencils. To get more color at my background I used Glimmer Mist Pop Rocks and Fully Purple from Tattered Angels. I also used Distress Paint Shaded Lilac. The stamps are from Prima and Darkroom door. For my stamping I used Archival Ink Jet Black.

 In my first kit from Wild Orchid Crafts I got a lot of beautiful flowers and some cute embellishments!

 I love to use thread or Sissal together with flowers! Here I used both black and gold thread.

 I painted my white doves called GST-172 with black Gesso and the nwith my fingertips I added Prima Metallique Wax Vintage Gold. The black twigs behind my flower are chipboards from Wycinanka painted with black gesso. 

:: More Than Words and Scrapki September Challenges ::

 I made this layout for a challenge over at More Than Words and Scrapki. This months at More than words the creative challenge was Grunge style and the word was Fearless. A very fun challenge and I really love how my layout turned out! You can see the board image here and follow the LINK to find the challenge.

At Scrapki the challenge was the word Journey. I was thinking about the journey in life my very beloved boy will have to make. I will give him all all my knowledge and a fundation of love. I hope that will be enough to make him a good person!

 I started by using a grey christmas paper from Papirdesign called Vinterstrikk. I added Gesso with my brayer and also more Gesso with a stencil called Sunrise Checker from Prima. I used different stamps from Prima with Archival Ink Jet Black.

Then I added different strips of Washitape. I wanted it more narrow in the middle so I cut them a bit shorter there. I added even more stamping to get a really grunge look! First I was thinking about adding some red color but I ended up with teal instead. I found a really nice spray from Tattered Angels called Glimmer Mist Frozen Lake.

 I wanted lots of texture and layers and used different die-cuts I found in my studio. To get the same color and add more of the nice teal I stained my edges and sprinkled the mist here and there.

 I used both twine and thread to clarify the messy style. I also sprinkled with both white and black to get more contrasts. Framing the words with some doodling makes them pop a bit!

 I wanted to play with my title a bit and get the word fearless included in a fun way. I ended up with using some stickers and this chipboard from Blue Fern Studios.
