:: More Than Words and Scrapki September Challenges ::

 I made this layout for a challenge over at More Than Words and Scrapki. This months at More than words the creative challenge was Grunge style and the word was Fearless. A very fun challenge and I really love how my layout turned out! You can see the board image here and follow the LINK to find the challenge.

At Scrapki the challenge was the word Journey. I was thinking about the journey in life my very beloved boy will have to make. I will give him all all my knowledge and a fundation of love. I hope that will be enough to make him a good person!

 I started by using a grey christmas paper from Papirdesign called Vinterstrikk. I added Gesso with my brayer and also more Gesso with a stencil called Sunrise Checker from Prima. I used different stamps from Prima with Archival Ink Jet Black.

Then I added different strips of Washitape. I wanted it more narrow in the middle so I cut them a bit shorter there. I added even more stamping to get a really grunge look! First I was thinking about adding some red color but I ended up with teal instead. I found a really nice spray from Tattered Angels called Glimmer Mist Frozen Lake.

 I wanted lots of texture and layers and used different die-cuts I found in my studio. To get the same color and add more of the nice teal I stained my edges and sprinkled the mist here and there.

 I used both twine and thread to clarify the messy style. I also sprinkled with both white and black to get more contrasts. Framing the words with some doodling makes them pop a bit!

 I wanted to play with my title a bit and get the word fearless included in a fun way. I ended up with using some stickers and this chipboard from Blue Fern Studios.

:: ATC for two different challenges ::

 I´m still in my love mood for ATC :) I haven´t perticipated in that many challenges lately so I thought it was about time! My three ATC is made after two different challenges. More Than Words has a mini challenge each month in their Facebook page. This month the word was SHE. I also wanted to take on the13arts Butterfly challenge. 

 I wanted to use the colors from the Butterfly images on my ATC. 

 I used a patterned paper from Kaisercraft for my background. To get a nice frame for my Butterflies I used both chipboards from Dusty Attic and metallic bottle caps. I painted the Chipboard frames with metallic Acrylic Paint from Daler Rowney and 13arts Ayeeda Shiny Powder Bronze.

 To get more textures I used white feathers from my Easter stash and Art Stones from Prima. The stones felt a bit too white so I added Metallique Wax Rich Copper from Prima. The Butterflies are from a Blue Fern Studios paper. To get some more bling I used loose glitter from Prima Finnabair.

 For my words I used small letter stickers from Adornit called Tiny Black. Last I added Rhinestones in the corners and some more Wax and Shiny Powder.

:: ATC - Sweet Music ::

I made this four ATC´s for a mini challenge at More Than Words. This month the word was SWEET.

I used my handmade backgrounds made with black cardstock and old table cloth and Gesso.

 Then I added lace, feathers, sewing thread, bottle caps, glitter from Prima, glass beads from 13arts, silver caviar beads and lovely chipboards from Wycinanka.

:: Tag in gold and blue ::

Enjoy your everyday life! Important words to live by! Not easy but important!

I made this Tag for the Mini challenge at More than words. You find this challenge at their facebook page. Hope you like my Tag :)

I think it turbned out really nice! The colors are great together and it feels a bit regal!

First I covered the Tag with patterned paper from Prima. I added three different Washi tapes. 

Then I found a golden doilie and the pretty golden lace from Tresos de luxe. 

I decided that blue and brown flowers looked really nice with the gold and added flowers from Prima and Petaloo. 

The letters are from American Crafts.

To get some cool textures and effects I used Caviar beads in blue and gold, gold flakes, Stampendous Aged Embossing Enamel Gold, clear glass beads, Prima Memory Hardware Glass Pearls, Prima Glass Glitter Gold Rush and glitter.

I painted my Chipboards with Martha Stewart acrylic paint gold. The word stickers are from Tim Holtz. 

Just love this cool effects with all layers and effects!

I have had a bit of a slow period when it comes to create layouts. So at the moment it feels like I need to collect all my courage to even dare to make a layout! Maybe this challenge was a bit of a kick in the but to make them again! You find information about all the products from 13arts I used for my layout under the photos. 

More than words July - The word Smile combine with a sketch. You find the challenge  here!
I used this stunning sketch to find my mojo again. You find the word SMILE in my title and the photos of my son makes me smile also!

Here are my layout! I really like it! For my background I used papers from 13arts. I used a collection called Mental vacation and the papers are Forever Skies and Life´s a beach. I made a lot of squares and added to my background paper.

 I used flowers from Prima. They are Corine Flowers and Roses from Salvage District collection and French Riviera collection.

 Around my squares I used Pit Pens from Faber Castell. Then I added tons of textures like glitter and glass beads from 13arts. My sentiment piece I painted with black Gesso from 13arts and water. I added water to make the Gesso thin so I could see the letters throw the Gesso.

 Here is a close up on some of the textures. You can find black Natural Mika flakes, blue hexagon hologram glitter, Micro glass beads all from 13 arts. When I add all of it I used 13arts Acrylic Gel Medium. I really like it!

 I also added Mist from 13arts called Chalk Turquoise.

 The cute embellishment is from Prima and called Crochet Icons.

  In my stash I found some really old chipboards from Tattered Angels. I gave them a coat of black paint from 13arts.

I didn´t use the actual word on my layout but I think the photos really speak the word - Finally have we escaped the winter and welcome the spring! But for me this also have a different meaning. Me hanging out with Viggo are the best escape from my daily pain! He always put a smile on my face!

 From the challenge Mood Photo I was inspired by all the flowers, the purple and pink colors. 

 My background paper is from Lemon Craft. I used a ton of different sprays from 13arts, Prima and also Acrylic Inks from Liquitex. 

 The flowers are from Papirdesign and Prima.

 Tags, stamps, and embellishments are also from Prima. The small lilac resin flowers are from Lemon Craft. 

 For extra textures I used cheese cloth, caviar pearls, rhinestones and sewing thread.

:: Baby belly bliss ::

Finally a new layout in my blog! My hubbie and I tried for twelve years before we finally got pregnant back in 2008! If you follow my blog you know that we got a perfect baby boy named Viggo. At More Than Words the challenge for March is to use the word BLISS. I think this photo of my gigantic belly and my hubbie is the perfect photo for the word bliss! The challenge was also to use GESSO. I used gesso with a stencil and also as a white wash and on the flowers.

I also was inspird by the Mood Board at Berry71Blue. The words about when things happens if you are patient fits so very well with my theme for my layout! I also was inspired by the pinks and the Butterfly!

Finally I also was inspired by Primas PPP for March! I have used almost 100% products from Prima. The only thing not from Prima is the bow. I just love the pink and green together!

I used flowers from Salvage District collection called Royal Court, Palais Royal, Trianon and the green Roses are called Grand Garden. My favorite Prima flowers are called Corine and the white flower are one of these.

The BLISS sign is from a package called Jean Plates. The stencil I used is called Crackles. The die from Prima is called Crochet Doily. I also used Soft matte gel and Micro beads crystal. I used some different stamps from Prima for some contrasts. Some sprinkle from a Color Bloom spray added more green.

Behind my flowers a cute resin frame peeking out. I also added a bow I tied with lace. 

The pink Rose are a older one called Winter Rose.
