:: White Poinsettia Christmas Card ::

Can you belive it´s already first of December?! I really need to step it up with my Christmas Card making! I have a lots of ideas that I still want to try out and try to create!

Time for a Christmas Card with a little bit more embellishments on! I really love the kind of Foamiran they have at Wild Orchid Crafts! I have tried three different brands and this is by far the best! For my Poinsettia I used a die from Kaisercraft called Layered Poinsettia. The die is a bit narrow in the center so you need to be very careful when you twist the foam.
I used some dies from Wish for my framing and also one Punch around the page from Martha Stewart. The sentiment stamp is from Penny Black called Yultide Wishes.

:: Purple/Lilac Christmas card for Wild Orchid Crafts ::

 I love making Christmas Cards! You can go totally overboard with flowers, glitters and different embellishments and it´s still okay! I also love to make Christams cards in a bit untraditional colors. I think a pink Christmas card with lots of sparkles or like the card I show today in lilac is so cool and beautiful! I hope you also start to create Christmas cards in what ever color you like!

I used stunning flowers from Wild Orchid Crafts and to get them to really sparkle I dipped them in Multi Medium from 13arts and then the best glitter ever for this technique Ranger Distress Dry Glitter Clear Rock Candy. I love the effect you get!

I used purple and lilac flowers in different shapes. I love to use Lilys at the end of my flower clusters!

I wanted some grey flowers to match my critter but I couldn´t find any and what´s better than make your own flowers? Ahhh ha ha to buy them ready ;) Okay both ways is good :) I made my Poinsettia with Foamiran and dry chalks. I think it turned out pretty cool in grey and lilac!

:: ATC - After Dark ::

Last weekend I met up with my dear friends Ulrika and Nina for some creative time together. I managed to finish two editions of ATC. This is my second one. If you scroll down you find the first one. I actually started some in the onelayer technique but they I will show you later, when they are completed ;)

For these ATC I wanted to make something over the top with too much of everything! I think I pulled it off! I started off with some frames made with moulds and paperclay. I painted them with the Sparks Fairy Wings Acrylic Paint. My backgrounds was already made and a find in a box when I did my tidy up in my studio. I stamped them with a checker print stamp and they were ready to go.

I added a black feather, some black Sisal and some gold thread before adding the frames with Gel medium. Last I added Glass Glitter and Micro Beads in gold. The Dragonflies are from The Dusty Attic and the words from Kaisercraft.

:: House for birds - ATC ::

Finally some new stuff in my blog! I have been organizing and moving around things in my studio and totally went all in there ;) I´m not done yeat but I met up with some friends last Sunday and created two sets of ATC´s. The first ones I will show you toady. I will also soon show you how my small but very loved studio turned out. I love to see how other have arranged their creative spaces so maybe you will enjoy seeing how mine looks?

My ATC´s is created for a swap with friends. Actually my former team mates at Pyssloteket. I decided to step down from the team so now I´m not on any designteam at all.The theme was birds. I created some with the same theme for another swap recently but I really enjoyed this theme anyway!

I used a background paper from Bo Bunny in teal. Then I added pieces of a brick shaped chipboard from Snipart. The next step was to add Art-stones from Prima. I used both small and large. Then I added loose glitter from Finnabairs collection. I love how easy the containers are to use! To get more color I added 13arts Rainbow Colors Turquoise and Acrylic Ink from Liquitex in Turquoise Deep. Then I gave it a shower with clean water. I love how this technique works! Fun and cool effects! 

The bird houses are from The Dusty Attic and the words from Kaisercraft. I painted the bird houses with Prima Acrylic Paint Metallique Silver Spoon and the a tiny bit of Metallique Mermaild Teal. I painted the words with Prima Acrylic Paint Sparks Raven Black. Last I added some Prima Metallique Wax in Old Silver and some black splashes with black Liquitex Acrylic Ink.
