:: Altered Glass Bottle ::

 I found a fun challenge over at Scraphuset and this is my project made for the all black challenge.
It´s a bif difficult to take photos of this kind of project so I hope you can see all textures and different shapes. I started with a flee market find - a glass bottle for some kind of liquor.

I painted the whole bottle with white gesso and on some areas I used crackle paste and a brick stencil.

I made several different shapes with paperclay. When it all was dry I glued them to the bottle. I also added both regular size and mini artstones from Prima.

 When it was dry I added a layer of black acrylic paint.

Last I added Prima Wax with my fingertips.

My list of supplies:
Daler Rowney Gesso
Studio Acrylic Paint Charcoal Black
Prima Metallique Wax Old Silver
Prima Artstones
Prima Mini Artstones
Martha Stewart Paperclay
Molds - angels, crowns, butterflies, keyhole, different ornaments
Tim Holtz mini stencil set 3
Prima 3d Matte Gel
DecoArt Crackle Paste

:: Halloween ATC - Spooky ::

Happy Halloween! Here in Sweden Halloween is beginning to get really big despite it´s not a Swedish tradition. Of course the kids think it´s more fun than us adults. I wanted to create a bit scary ATC and this is the result.

My backgrounds is made with lots of die-cuts from Tim Holtz Ephemera pack Frightful and paper from Bo Bunny Wonderfully Wicked Collection.

I made the faces with paper clay and painted them black.

To get them a bit less scary I added black lace over the faces.

I added a ton of different texture embellishments. I also added both black paint and some metallic paint from Prima also in black.

I wanted some orange also so I added orange glitter from Prima and Rich Copper Metallique Wax.
I also added Black glitter, black micro beads, black glass beads and black larger glitters.

Behind the lace you get a glimpse of the evil red eyes! Boooohhhhh!

:: ATC for Wild Orchid Crafts ::

I really love making my ATC´s! Today I have four ATC with handmade faces on.

For the faces I used moulds and paper clay. When the faces was dry I painted them with black Gesso and added Metallique Wax Vintage Gold from Prima.

Behind the faces, or maybe masks are a more correct word for them, I added feathers in black and purple. I also used sissal in gold. Below the sissal I used beautiful metal frames or plaquettes from Wild Orchid Crafts. Around the flowers I used Micro Beads from 13arts and some cool mica flakes in purple also from 13arts. To get some sparkle I used loose glitter from Prima Finnabair. I just love the small tube containers with glitter from Prima!

From Wild Orchid Crafts I used Purple Open Roses 10mm. I painted some flowers with black Gesso. The flowers I painted are Cherry Blossoms, Sweetheart Blossoms Flowers and Open Roses in the size10 mm. Then I added some of the Vintage Gold Wax from Prima on all flowers.

:: Mechanical woman - ATC ::

Today I have some ATC made for a challenge at Scraphuset. The theme was autumn and I was inspired by all the warm and orange colors outside. But for me autumn also mean that the days getting shorter and darker. Therefore I used black for my background. It was a bit challenging to take good photos of the copper shades.

 First I made the frames with a mould and paper clay. Then I painted the frames with black Gesso and added some Metallique Wax Rich Copper from Prima. The beautiful images are from a website with free photos. I mounted them on the back of the frames.

 The copper gears are from Wish. I also added Glass Glitter and Micro Beads in Copper from Prima.

 For my backgrounds I used black Cardstock and mesh boght at the section for wallpaper and paint. It´s for smoothing joints on the wall. Also perfect for cool textures! With a very light pressure I added more of the Wax over the mesh. Behind the frames I added lace and painted the lace with black Gesso. I also added some Wax on the lace.

:: Baroque Ladies for a challenge at 13arts ::

I found a challenge perfect for me and my frames I created with paperclay. I took on 13arts challenge #58 called Vintage Love.
I was first inspired by the Vintage theme. From the moodboard I was inspired by the gold, the metallic lids on the glass jars, the colors, the flowers and the framing on the phone booth.

 I layered lots of different patterned papers and distressed the edges. I die-cutted the oval frame with a die from Spellbinders called Elegant Ovals.

I made my frames for my pretty ladies with molds and paperclay. I painted them with Prima art alchemy acrylic paint - Mermaid Teal, Butterfly Spells and Mermaid Sparkle. When the paint was dry I added a bit of Prima Metallic Wax Vintage Gold.

I used the small planner flowers from Prima and Roses from Wild Orchid Crafts. I think the gold stamens are from Wild Orchid Crafts also?

 To get more gold I used a thin gold thread and I wired it around the papers many turns.

 To get a feminine touch I used different glassbeads, microbeads and loose glitter from 13arts and Prima. I really love the gold with the colors.

 On this card I added a bit of gold paper behind one of the patterned papers.

:: Altered Bread Brush ::

I made this altered bread brush back in July and finally I have made a blog post with it! This kind of work is a bit out of my ordinary comfort zone so I hope you like it!
It was very fun to make but it took me many days from start to a finished brush. There are so many layers and I needed lot of drying time. As you can see on this first photo I have used lot of yummie supplies from Prima. Not all on the photo but some of them.

The chipboards that I used are from Blue Fern Studios and the large resin ornament from Prima. I made the leaves and the butterflies with paperclay and molds.

Besides all the sprays and paints I used Art-stones from Prima for even more textures. I also used loose glitters and micro beads.

To get a dramatic look with lot of depth I added darker colors in the cavities and high lighted the peaks with gesso and light shades of waxes.
