:: Green Vintage Christmas Card ::

At the last minute I joind a very fun challenge at Kristinas Scrapbooking. I´m a slow scrapbooker and this card took me forever to create! Lucky me I enjoyed every minute of it! With three hours left of the challenge I managed to send in photos of my card :)  I love how it turned out!

My paper, yes I only used one, is from Bo Bunny Winter Wishes Collection and are called Winter Wishes. I framed the image with a chipboard frame from Blue Fern Studios. The cute Deer is also from Blue Fern Studios and called Winter Deer. I painted them both with sparkly acrylic paint.

 The large green flowers I made myself with Foamiran from WOC. I used three different dies.

 All the other flowers are first dipped in Multimedium and then loose glitter. This time I chosed a iridiscent white glitter. I added cardboard behind one layer paper and behind my image to get depth on my card. I also made three layers of lace. The first one is a gift from a sweet friend called Klara. The snowflake ribbon is from TGR. I can´t remember were I bought the one with beads?

:: More Than Words and Scrapki September Challenges ::

 I made this layout for a challenge over at More Than Words and Scrapki. This months at More than words the creative challenge was Grunge style and the word was Fearless. A very fun challenge and I really love how my layout turned out! You can see the board image here and follow the LINK to find the challenge.

At Scrapki the challenge was the word Journey. I was thinking about the journey in life my very beloved boy will have to make. I will give him all all my knowledge and a fundation of love. I hope that will be enough to make him a good person!

 I started by using a grey christmas paper from Papirdesign called Vinterstrikk. I added Gesso with my brayer and also more Gesso with a stencil called Sunrise Checker from Prima. I used different stamps from Prima with Archival Ink Jet Black.

Then I added different strips of Washitape. I wanted it more narrow in the middle so I cut them a bit shorter there. I added even more stamping to get a really grunge look! First I was thinking about adding some red color but I ended up with teal instead. I found a really nice spray from Tattered Angels called Glimmer Mist Frozen Lake.

 I wanted lots of texture and layers and used different die-cuts I found in my studio. To get the same color and add more of the nice teal I stained my edges and sprinkled the mist here and there.

 I used both twine and thread to clarify the messy style. I also sprinkled with both white and black to get more contrasts. Framing the words with some doodling makes them pop a bit!

 I wanted to play with my title a bit and get the word fearless included in a fun way. I ended up with using some stickers and this chipboard from Blue Fern Studios.

:: ATC for two different challenges ::

 I´m still in my love mood for ATC :) I haven´t perticipated in that many challenges lately so I thought it was about time! My three ATC is made after two different challenges. More Than Words has a mini challenge each month in their Facebook page. This month the word was SHE. I also wanted to take on the13arts Butterfly challenge. 

 I wanted to use the colors from the Butterfly images on my ATC. 

 I used a patterned paper from Kaisercraft for my background. To get a nice frame for my Butterflies I used both chipboards from Dusty Attic and metallic bottle caps. I painted the Chipboard frames with metallic Acrylic Paint from Daler Rowney and 13arts Ayeeda Shiny Powder Bronze.

 To get more textures I used white feathers from my Easter stash and Art Stones from Prima. The stones felt a bit too white so I added Metallique Wax Rich Copper from Prima. The Butterflies are from a Blue Fern Studios paper. To get some more bling I used loose glitter from Prima Finnabair.

 For my words I used small letter stickers from Adornit called Tiny Black. Last I added Rhinestones in the corners and some more Wax and Shiny Powder.

:: ATC - Swap with Butterfly theme ::

Long time no see ;) Finally a new blog post!

i made ten ATC for a swap with friends. The theme was a Butterfly and the technique layers of paper. This is how my ATC´s turned out.

I fussy cutted some Butteflies from a Blue Fern paper. To get them more turquoise I used some Copic Markers and painted some details with them. It´s a very nice and simple tip to use Markers if you want to change colors. They often works really well on the patterned papers that are a bit shiny.

I made my background by cutting a lot of strips and then glue them diagonal on a cardstock. Then I used my sewing machine and stitched in black around the edges. I used papers from a Tilde paper pad from Panduro. 

I splattered a bit with Distress Ink paint and when the paint was dry I used a stencil from Bo Bunny. I wanted a white shadow behind my paper Butterflies.

I have a really nice long die from Bo Bunny that I used. You get a long strip with the die so I cut the strip in two pieces. I think the die-cut give me a delicate look.

Last I added my words of wisdom from Tim Holtz and some Stickles in my favotite shade Star Dust!

:: Layout for Pysslotekets April challenge ::

We´re having a challenge at Pysslotekets Facebook group and I made a inspiration layout after my own sketch and color scheme. I always think it´s harder to create after my own sketches than others?

This time the colors made me leave the romantic flower style for a bit and work with lots of contrasts.

The photos are from Instagram and a day when Viggo, me and Molle played in the garden.

I started with a black cardstock. I used two different stencils from Tim Holtz called Striped and Splotches. For the stripes I used Gesso and for the Splotches I used Dylusion Paint Sqeezed Orange. Then I cut strips from Bo Bunny Life in Colors, Kaisercarft Hanami garden and Bo Bunny Petal Lane. I played a bit with a black and a white pen. I did some fussy cutting with the paper called Posies from Bo Bunny. I colored some parts of the flowers with a Copic pen. I painted my chipboards from Blue Fern Studios with the orange paint I used with the Stencil. Last I sprinkled Distress Paint Picket Fence and Dylusion Paint Sqeezed Orange over my page.

:: ATC´s - Romantic Flutter ::

Today I have some pink and cute ATC´s to show you. The words on my cards are from 7 Dots Studio and the Fortune-teller collection.

I really like how they turned out! Hope you do too :)

I started with romantic patterned paper from Panduro. Then I added mesh lace and Cheese cloth and then even more lace. Then I added a pink feather and a die-cut in silver made from Tall Bamboo from Memory Box. You find dies from Memory Box at Pyssloteket!

I punched out Butterflies from a Blue Fern Studios paper. Then I glued them in a bottle cap and over the paper I added a plastic thing that I don´t know what it´s called in English? The pink flowers are from Prima and from the calendar collection. This flower is the January flower and called Carnation. In the middle of the pink flowers I used Rhinestones from Marianne Design White glass beads from Panduro and the others are finds from my drawers. 

I really like this romantic, sweet and almost enchanting look!

:: ATC´s with lots of stamps ::

I started by spraying different Mists on a 12x12 white thick cardstock from 13arts. I used 13arts Ayeeda Mist Pastel Yellow, Pastel Salmon and Pastel Pink. Then I cut the cardstock in to 12 ATC´s.

I used seven of them for this design and later I will show you the other five.

I started to stamp on the background. I used lots of different stamps from Prima, Bo Bunny and Blue Fern Studios. I used my Ink pads from Archival Ink. The colors I used was Chrome Yellow, Saffron, Monarch Orange, Vermillion, Rose Madder, Magenta Hue and Jet Black. I started with the lightest color and finished with the black.

I added some older flowers from Prima that I have in glass bottles. Different glitter from 13arts and some nail glitter plus some words from Tim Holtz and they were ready. Superfun technique!

 

:: 13arts February challenge - Rainbows ::

Today my layout is made for a challenge at 13arts. The theme was rainbows and I had so much fun creating my layout! I wanted a fun and whimsical layout and I think my photo fits the theme very well. Viggo jumping around in our garden!

For my background I used different sprays from 13arts. The colors I used are 13arts Ayeeda Mist Pastel Pink, Pastel Salmon, Pastel Yellow, Pastel Cobalt and Chalk Turquoise Light.

To get more depth in my background I stamped with different stamps from Prima, You Do and Darkroom door. I found some shades among my Archival inks that was almost a perfect match! The colors I used are Ranger Archival Ink Jet Black, French Ultramarine, Magenta Hue, Chrome Yellow, Forget Me Not and Monarch Orange. For every color I also used glitter in the same shade.

For this challenge it was perfect to pull out my boxes with older flowers from Prima. Yes, I have a lot of flowers from Prima ;) 

I really like the effect you get by using sewing thread!

A couple of years ago I won a challenge and in my prize there was these fab flairs. If I remember correctly they are from Umwow studio. I also used chipboards from Blue Fern Studio that I painted white with acrylic paint.

:: It´s that time of year - Top 10 layouts 2016 ::

I´m really happy to see that my mojo is back and that I actually have enjoyed creating a little bit more than last year! But I only made 23 layouts. Today I will show you my top 10 layouts and the following days I will do the same with my cards and a new subject for this year, my ATC´s :) Hope you like what I have created during 2016 and you are so so very welcome back to my blog during 2017!
